RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
US #8 (5 mm) straight needles (10-14” /25-36 cm)

GAUGE
16 sts in pattern stitch = 4”/10 cm

ABBREVIATIONS
k: knit
st(s): stitch(es)
k2tog: knit 2 sts together
ssk: slip 1 st, slip next st, knit both sts
yo: yarn over

INSTRUCTIONS

Cast on 36 sts loosely.

Set-up row: k.

Row 1: k2, yo, k1, yo, *(ssk) twice, (k2tog) twice, (yo, k1) 3 times, yo**, repeat from * to ** once, (ssk) twice, (k2tog) twice, (yo, k1) twice, k1.

Rows 2-4: k.

Repeat rows 1-4 until the remaining yarn end is approximately 25”/65 cm.

Finish the current row and bind off sts.
